There is a power in calm. With artist Chloé Moglia, this isn’t figurative, but very concrete. She climbs slowly along a 40-meter, curved pole, shimmies across the room, remains motionless. Don't let go, she whispers to herself. She hangs in the air and moves in what seems to be slow motion. Her strength is not fast and furious, but a tool to perform almost meditative movements. Marielle Chatain's captivating live music accompanies and enhances the performance with her melodic tunes and immersive soundscapes.
Chloé Moglia was already a guest at cirqu' in 2021; back then she overwhelmed the audience in the reformierten Kirche Aarau with her piece "Horizon". This time she will take over the almost empty Alte Reithalle: You can watch her sitting, lying or standing, somewhere in the room.
Incidentally, «La Ligne» has only been shown once before, in 2019 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first man on the moon, at the Grand Palais in Paris. Don’t miss this.
