Ossol | Work in Progress

Calou Rais serves as porteur, Sophie Nussbaumer acts as aerialist. The inspiration for "Ossol" originated during studies together at the Academy of Circus and Performance Art ACAPA in the Netherlands: Rais’s leg was in a cast for several weeks, but the duo was determined to continue working and thus, paradoxically, a broken leg led to new creative possibilities.

Currently, they are further refining their concept, without the cast. Throughout the festival, they will be stationed at the Bühne Aarau rehearsal room and ultimately, offer us a glimpse into their creative process.
