In June 2025, the Aarau festival cirqu' is back, bringing nationally and internationally successful productions to the city and once again showcasing contemporary circus art in all its diversity.
In addition to pieces that playfully implement traditional circus forms, the program also includes unusual experiments with dance, technology, objects and words.
The atmospherically unique Alte Reithalle is the festival center. There are also various other venues in the city.
Most of the performances take place in the evening. However, school performances and separately booked performances can also be shown in the morning or afternoon. Many of the plays are suitable for children and young people aged 6 to 18. The detailed program will be published on our website from 2 April and will provide further information.
